Founded by Mark Hutson in South Africa in April 2012, Appsure was initially designed to disrupt traditional insurance channels by providing a solution to enable the rapid delivery of products for direct insurers. Appsure has since grown and evolved into a complete cloud-based digital solution that allows insurers to customise product functionality through an array of functions. The platform utilises disruptive technologies, such as microservice architecture, digital decisioning, a modern rules engine, and machine learning, to outperform larger competitors hampered by their legacy architecture.
Appsure provides insurers with tools for a client-centric approach, thus optimising customer outcomes. More importantly, the solution allows product features to be brought to the market in a fraction of the time and cost compared to those of legacy solutions.
The Appsure platform has been deployed to general and life insurance companies globally. Flexible deployment models are supported to optimise the cloud strategy of businesses. Full to partial support and team augmentation are provided by Appsure according to customer needs.
