“Stelvio’s approach to EstImage is unique in that it leverages software integration to simplify communication and data exchange between insurers and their suppliers from one centralised location, eliminating the need for multiple products or portals.”
While EstImage is synonymous with motor assessing, the Stelvio team used 2020 as an opportunity to expand the support offered to clients. The team developed new software solutions within the EstImage product suite: EstImage Connect, which facilitates connection with customers, panel repairers and suppliers anytime and anywhere for fast, effective virtual inspections; and EstImage Online, a cloud-based solution designed for smash repairers completing work for insurers. Stelvio also delivered EstImage Property, a new software solution that assists the property insurance market in a similar fashion to EstImage Motor. It’s a customisable software solution that simplifies the communication and administration of property claims between property insurers, suppliers, and customers.
EstImage, powered by Stelvio, delivers technologies that help businesses run better, letting insurance and repairer management customers keep pace with changing business needs, industry-specific requirements, and technological evolution. EstImage is the complete communications hub for insurance providers, suppliers, and repairers. The cloud-based assessing and workflow management platform helps insurers and supports businesses to maximise their efficiency while enabling customers to repair, replace, or reimburse damaged goods.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, the EstImage product suite empowers suppliers and insurers to continue using their preferred systems and processes, while simultaneously ensuring data is received in the required format. The solution automates the data transfer between systems, ensuring that it is sent and received however it is required by the insurer’s system.
What are Stelvio’s plans for the near future?
“We’ll be exploring methods to control costs outside the standard funny money/funny time constraints,” says Giguère. “We’ll expand our strategic partnerships to broaden our customers’ options when fine-tuning their business processes. And we’ll be rethinking the motor total loss process.”
Stelvio Australia has been delivering innovative insurtech products to the Australian insurance and repairer markets since 2001. The company’s product range includes its flagship EstImage suite. Having entered the Australian market as the first software company to digitally connect insurers, repairers, and assessors more than 20 years ago, Stelvio has collaborated with some of the largest insurers in the country.

“Stelvio prioritises customer service and communication alongside delivering innovative insurtech solutions for its customers and partners,” says Yannick Giguère, general manager.
“By collaborating closely with its partners and customers, Stelvio helps to develop innovative solutions that can be configured to meet the unique needs of every business, helping companies to serve their customers better, leading to a win-win-win outcome.
