Leah Girgagosian, accident and health claims handler, plays an important role by being responsible for providing a superior customer-focused claims experience. This means understanding and working collaboratively with broker partners to establish and exceed service level agreements that allow claims to be paid in a timely and efficient manner.
Leah began her insurance career in January 2019 as a claims consultant with a TPA (Sedgwick), managing accident, health and travel claims and was promoted to a leadership position in February 2020, overseeing the accident and health claims team. She was responsible for end-to-end management of a claims portfolio, liaising with medical professionals, brokers and claimants.
She joined Arch in March 2024 and has already made an impact. Leah has attended key broker client meetings, and, in conjunction with the team, developed bespoke service level arrangements. Her dedication to the role also saw her co-design an information pamphlet to be distributed to clients to assist with claims. Arch recently brought A&H claims inhouse and Leah is part of the initial team driving this initiative. Leah has received many positive compliments from brokers, recognising her commitment to excellent service to Arch’s clients, her positive attitude and her ability to work collaboratively for a positive outcome for clients.
