Tony Dodd, the CEO of GT Insurance, has a strong customer-centric disposition and a passion for employee engagement. He enthusiastically promotes GT’s company value of fairness. His skills, values and ambitions have been cultivated through 28 years of working in the general insurance industry commencing as a junior clerk, working through claims, underwriting and sales. He has combined this exposure with many volunteer hours supporting various community charities which have ingrained in him the values of humility, empathy and service. With an upbeat and positive nature, Dodd embraces change and encourages others to seek opportunities to fulfill their vision with his particular skills in goal achievement. Away from work, he continues to collaborate with charities, is the doting father of three teenage children, and gives credit to his better half, Bree, for keeping him grounded and focused.

Andrew Coad is the general manager, sales and distribution at GT Insurance. He joined the company in 2012 as the Victorian state manager, working with a highly specialised team of professionals, focused on providing brokers and their clients with great customer service and innovative insurance solutions. Prior to joining GT Insurance, he worked with Allianz Australia for 27 years in various underwriting, sales and leadership roles. Coad’s final role at Allianz was to successfully lead the broker & agency Victorian metropolitan sales team.
His interests outside insurance include improving his handicap on the golf course and barracking for his mighty Magpies in the AFL.

Chris Kindred is the general manager, business process management at GT Insurance. He has over 25 years of experience in general insurance and has enjoyed various roles in management, claims and underwriting. Angela Stevens is the general manager for claims at GT Insurance. Before being promoted, she served as national claims manager at GT Insurance for 11 years, overseeing the company’s claims management in nine branches across Australia.
She began her insurance career with CGU in 1994 and now has 23 years of experience working in the commercial sector, covering claims management, customer service, sales, staff development and training.
Stevens is a certified insurance professional. She is a senior associate at ANZIIF. She completed her advanced diploma of leadership and management at the Australian College of Commerce and Management in April 2022. Stevens was also recognised as one of Insurance Business Australia’s Elite Women for three consecutive years in 2020–22
