“Our people and our large global footprint are what sets us apart,” explains the Canadian branch’s managing director and chief agent, Klaus Navarrete. “I am a strong believer in the entrepreneurial spirit, which continues to push the team to strive to be the best they can be.”
As a strong partner for B2B services in the insurance and risk management sector, the company goes above and beyond in its prompt claims management and comprehensive risk management approach designed to prevent losses and damage.
The most crucial strategy contributing to HDI Global’s award-winning reputation is that its local teams can provide clients with tailored solutions in more than 175 countries.
“Clients and fellow companies can expect to work with and count on us to provide Global solutions with a local perspective,” adds Navarrete. “We have a local, strong, and diverse team in Canada dedicated to bringing the best solutions forward for clients.”
With its headquarters in Germany, HDI Global SE generates more than half of its premium volume internationally. Its core market is Europe, where the organization employs upward of 4,500 people in 39 countries.
In line with this international focus, the former HDI-Gerling Industrie Versicherung AG changed its name to HDI Global SE in 2016. Branches, subsidiaries, and affiliates worldwide have also been renamed to ensure a uniform corporate image. The company now operates under the HDI brand globally.
HDI Global SE is the flagship company of the Industrial Clients Division of Talanx Group. Along with other affiliated HDI entities, the company is part of Talanx Group, which works successfully as a multi-brand provider in property/casualty and life primary insurance, non-life and life/health reinsurance (Hannover Re), and financial services.
