John Haas is the president of NFP in Canada. He oversees all strategic and operational aspects of NFP’s Canadian business, collaborating closely with the leadership team to elevate the firm’s value to its clients while championing NFP’s people-first culture across communities.
Haas has over 30 years of experience working successfully with global clients to deliver strategies for managing complex risks. He was previously executive vice president of Canadian corporate risk, broker leader, and North American natural resources leader for Willis Towers Watson. Before working with Willis, he served as a managing principal with Integro Insurance Brokers, a managing director with Marsh Canada, and an executive risk underwriter with Chubb Insurance Company of Canada.

Tara Carruthers is the chief financial officer at NFP in Canada. As CFO, she focuses on NFP’s financial planning and analysis and on assessing and capitalizing on the company’s financial strengths and opportunities.
Carruthers joined the company in 2018 following NFP’s acquisition of Dalton Timmis Insurance Group. Utilizing her considerable expertise, evident in her CGA, CPA, and Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation and RIBO license, she manages all the financial operations of NFP in Canada.

As associate general counsel for NFP’s Canadian operations, Lesley Munk works closely with the company’s business leaders, overseeing all corporate legal matters and supporting acquisitions in Canada. She is responsible for mitigating NFP’s legal risk while maximizing opportunities within the company’s diversified business.
Prior to joining NFP, Munk held the roles of general counsel and corporate secretary with RSA Canada, a large P&C carrier. Prior to that, she spent several years in private practice, working on M&A and other corporate transactions. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Huron College at the University of Western Ontario.

Greg Padovani currently holds the role of strategic growth advisor with NFP in Canada. Prior to this role, he held the position of president of NFP Canada.
As a strategic growth advisor, Padovani is responsible for helping leaders create more predictable, scalable revenue growth. Additionally, he helps build trust and credibility; he is NFP’s trusted authority in the insurance industry. He also helps build and hire the right team members to sustain long-term growth. In his role as managing director for ANZ, Clarke is responsible for the commercial running of the Accolade Wines business and leading the team within the region, driving market growth in the wine category through innovation and a customer-focused approach.
