Ilan Serman is the chief markets officer for Gallagher in Canada, serving as the key liaison between Gallagher and its insurer partners. He uses Gallagher Canada’s significant market presence to secure the best pricing, terms, and claims outcomes for clients. Previously, he was president of the Ontario Region.
Serman began his insurance career in New York in 1990 and has held senior roles with global brokerages in New York, London, Calgary, and Toronto. He also spent six years as director of risk management for Canada’s largest senior care company. He joined Gallagher in 2021, leading the Ontario Region for four years before moving into his current role.
