Jean-Pierre Galipeault is the president and chief regional executive for Arch Insurance Canada, having been promoted to president in January 2023. He joined Arch Canada in 2013, where he held various senior underwriting roles before becoming chief regional executive in 2019. Prior to joining Arch, he worked as a broker, specializing in specialty programs and warranty solutions. Galipeault holds an honours BSocSc from the University of Ottawa and is fully bilingual in French and English. His extensive experience in underwriting and brokerage, combined with his leadership skills, positions him as a key driver of Arch Canada’s continued growth and success.

John Moller is the chief underwriting officer of Arch Insurance Canada, having been promoted from senior vice president of specialty lines in January 2023. He joined Arch in New York City in 2009, where he also served as national head of executive assurance (D&O) and professional liability (E&O). Prior to this, Moller was VP of growth and middle markets, managing the underwriting of SME risks in the US. He has held various senior roles at Hartford Financial and brings a wealth of experience to his leadership position. Moller holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Delaware.

Emily Crewe is the chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Arch Insurance Canada, a role she has held since January 2023. She joined Arch Canada in July 2013 as VP of finance and was promoted to CFO in January 2019. With over 20 years of experience in property and casualty insurance, Crewe has held various progressive management positions throughout her career. Prior to her time in insurance, she worked at Deloitte, providing audit services to clients in the technology, manufacturing, and consumer goods sectors. Crewe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a Canadian CPA.

She holds a business administration diploma in marketing, along with the prestigious Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. In addition, Bull has completed Leadership Development Certification from both The Wharton Business School and London Business School, further enhancing her leadership and strategic capabilities in the insurance sector.

Blake Baxter is an experienced insurance professional with over a decade of expertise spanning insurance, accounting, and the legal sector. A cyber insurance specialist, he has a strong background in building incident response and claims handling functions. He has worked extensively across financial lines claims, including professional indemnity, D&O and cyber and has also gained valuable experience in corporate insolvency, managing complex claims portfolios, liaising with defence counsel and brokers and refining claims handling policies.
Baxter joined Emergence Insurance in March 2020 to establish an in-house claims handling and incident response function. This strategic move has given Emergence a competitive edge, providing quicker and more efficient support to clients and helping them recover faster from cyber incidents.
