Cecilia Chang is the chief executive officer of Generali Life Hong Kong and general manager of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. Hong Kong Branch (collectively known as Generali Hong Kong). She has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.
Chang joined the Generali Group in 2016 in Hong Kong as head of financial lines and underwriting, Asia for the Global Corporate and Commercial (GC&C) business and relocated to Milan in 2018 as global head of financial lines and underwriting in GC&C. Prior to joining Generali, she began her insurance career as a corporate lawyer for a Chicago-based carrier and moved on to hold leadership positions in underwriting at multinational carriers in the United States and Asia.
Chang graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Chicago and a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School. She is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, and actively promotes these values both within and outside of Generali.

Since joining the firm in 2015, Ryan Specialty has:

• launched 10 companies
“With each acquisition and de novo formation, a large branding component is involved,” says Phillips Topping.
Speaking on the importance of spotlighting marketing professionals, Phillips Topping says, “It’s imperative to shine a light on those who aren’t necessarily brokers or underwriters. There are so many different aspects of the industry. It’s nice to show all the great work that’s being done behind the scenes.”
