Stephen Ridley has 15 years of experience specialising in cyber and data risk insurance from both a broking and underwriting perspective. He is both CISMP and CompTIA Security+ accredited. Ridley currently sits on the cyber committee for the Association of British Insurers and the DCMS Cyber Advisory Group and regularly speaks at industry events, as well as being frequently featured in both trade and national press.

He has over 10 years of experience specialising directly in global cyber, privacy and technology underwriting. Stops is responsible for delivering Aviva’s cyber solution to corporate customers as well as supporting the development of further innovative products and services, contributing to the overall growth and expansion of Aviva’s cyber proposition.

In his role as COO of Alliant Insurance Services, Peter Carpenter is responsible for managing all day-to-day aspects of the company’s operations and attracting the industry’s best and highest performing sales professionals. He has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and joined Alliant in 2008, when it acquired ClearPoint, a Seattle-based employee benefits consulting firm that he cofounded and where he served as CEO. Prior to founding ClearPoint, Carpenter served as vice president of sales and marketing for a large regional insurance brokerage firm and as a group representative for Sun Life Insurance Company.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Colby College in Waterville, ME, where he majored in government and Spanish.
