In 2021, Robyn Hahn was named president of commercial lines at Westfield, an executive leadership role created to ensure the company achieves its vision to be distinguished by excellence in commercial insurance.
Hahn sets strategic direction and drives a customer-centric culture by optimizing data and analytics and innovating creative solutions to meet the ever-changing needs of American business owners. And, as a former insurance agent, she promotes a superior agent experience through the powerful combination of relationships and technology.
“What differentiates me is what differentiates all women in this industry – our professional and lived experiences are individually unique, which makes us collectively stronger and the industry better,” she says. “I believe leveraging our differences is how we’ll solve problems and uncover new opportunities.”
Hahn joined Westfield, a super-regional property and casualty insurance carrier that’s been in business for over 170 years, in 2015 as chief marketing and corporate communication officer. Under her leadership, Westfield introduced a new brand in the marketplace and launched award-winning marketing campaigns to agents and customers. She also led the development of a digital roadmap that delivered a new website and customer portal.
As a leader in the P&C industry, Hahn has more than 25 years of experience with national and international carriers. She has extensive proven experience forming and leading start-up teams, developing new corporate capabilities, and leading business transformation. Her credentials span agency management, sales and distribution strategy and execution, digital and operations, including call centers, processing, underwriting and risk control functions.
As a woman in insurance, she is enthusiastic about her fellow professionals’ ability to effectively represent the industry.
“Specifically, the holistic nature of what we have to offer from a career standpoint – it’s so expansive and diverse, with tremendous depth and breadth of opportunities, yet largely unknown,” she says.

Her passion for studying trends, markets and human behavior throughout her career has armed her with the tools to better understand how the insurance profession stays relevant, ever-evolving and always anticipating the needs of customers. Prior to Westfield, Hahn held leadership positions at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, The Travelers Companies and Nationwide.
She is a fellow of the Life Underwriter Training Council, a graduate of the executive development finance program at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Phoenix. She serves on the board of directors for Rocky Brands, a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of premium quality footwear and apparel marketed under a portfolio of well-recognized brand names. She has been recognized as a Woman of Professional Excellence by the YWCA of Greater Cleveland.
