From humble, small-town origins near Bolivar, Missouri, Duck Creek Technologies has grown to be a dominant technology solutions provider to the global property and casualty (P&C) and general insurance industry. For more than two decades, both their growth and global footprint have accelerated. They’ve achieved scale and recognition as a critical component of the global financial services infrastructure – providing the backbone and end-to-end core cloud systems of the insurance industry.
As the leading cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) provider of core systems for the global P&C and general insurance industry, Duck Creek’s solutions include underwriting, rating and policy management; billing and payments; distribution management; claims management; reinsurance management; and data insights. Their solutions are available on a standalone basis or as a full suite, and all are available via Duck Creek OnDemand.
Since its founding in 2000, Duck Creek has grown its global footprint and customer base. The company serves many of the largest and most well-known insurance brands around the world, from the United States and North America to the UK, EMEA, APAC and more.
In 2020, the company issued an IPO and became publicly traded. Since then, the company’s global growth and ecosystem have continued to expand, with new solution partners and system integrators joining the community. In 2022, Duck Creek acquired France-based Effisoft, integrating reinsurance management and compliance solutions into its market-leading offering, and giving a localized reinsurance presence in the EMEA and APAC regions. Duck Creek also recently announced an insurance technology milestone, with a successful end-to-end implementation, powered by Duck Creek OnDemand, that took less than 60 working days.
Duck Creek is the platform upon which modern insurance systems are built, enabling the industry to capitalize on the power of the cloud to run agile, intelligent, and evergreen operations. Authenticity, purpose, and transparency are core to Duck Creek, and they believe insurance should be there for individuals and businesses when, where, and how they need it most.
What’s more, Duck Creek is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) as a community of one – “One Duck Creek.” “We value and embrace each other’s diverse perspectives and contributions as a source of innovation and growth,” says Amy Bayer, global director for DE&I, engagement and culture. “We hold each other accountable to create a workplace where employees can be their authentic selves and strive to model inclusive behaviors and communications that lead to both personal and organizational success.
“In the future, we will continue building upon One Duck Creek and living the values put forth in our DE&I policy.
