In today’s dynamic insurance landscape, brokers face a choice: stick to the ordinary or venture into bold, untapped markets. At Professional Program Insurance Brokerage (PPIB), we've chosen to be pioneers, diving into industries where coverage is rare and innovation is essential.
Founded in 1993, PPIB was created to design insurance programs for industries that lacked specialized coverage. We first made our mark in the permanent cosmetics industry, providing insurance for services such as eyebrow, eyeliner, and lip tattooing. In 1995, we expanded our expertise to the tattoo industry, and by 2000, we were pioneering insurance solutions for the Medispa and Laser sectors. Collaborating with top industry professionals, we anticipated trends like lasers, botox, and medical peels, creating tailored solutions that set us apart.
Today, PPIB continues to lead with a growing portfolio that includes pyrotechnics companies, medical directors, e-cigarettes products liability, and wellness centers. We’re not just following trends; we’re setting them. Since Susan Etter took the helm in 2021, our commitment to pushing the boundaries of what insurance can do has only strengthened, adapting to the unique needs of the industries we serve.
At PPIB, we see opportunity where others see risk. We’re here to help brokers like you explore new frontiers, providing the coverage your clients need to thrive in niche markets.
