Alison Williams joined Christensen Group in 2006. Previously, she worked for Acordia, a division of Wells Fargo, where she was an account administrator concentrating on the health and human services industry.
Williams has a specific focus on the following products and industries: group homes for developmentally disabled, elderly, mental illness and TBI, assisted living and nursing homes, home health care/personal care attendants, development achievement centers/day programs, chemical dependency and addiction treatment facilities, client-directed care services, fiscal agent and employer of record, non-profits, and theaters.
Williams graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN with a degree in Entrepreneurship. She earned her CIC in 2018. She sits on the board of the Association of Residential Resources, Lead the Way Foundation, and Cardinal of Minnesota Advisory Board.

“As the leader of a team, it’s important to motivate and encourage your team members. People work very hard and do their best and it’s important to recognize these efforts. For my career overall, my attitude has been one of curiosity. The more you can learn, the better you’ll understand the business, and then the deeper your knowledge will become, making you a better team member.”

Since joining the firm in 2015, Ryan Specialty has:

• launched 10 companies
“With each acquisition and de novo formation, a large branding component is involved,” says Phillips Topping.
Speaking on the importance of spotlighting marketing professionals, Phillips Topping says, “It’s imperative to shine a light on those who aren’t necessarily brokers or underwriters. There are so many different aspects of the industry. It’s nice to show all the great work that’s being done behind the scenes.”
