“No matter how many clients I have, I make sure to call each one personally every quarter. It’s a chance to not only update them on their portfolio, but also check on how they’re doing personally”

Schneider says, “Large teams with differing objectives can be difficult to lead, but focusing on standardized processes and clear performance metrics has helped to ensure high-quality and consistent claim handling.”
Maintaining standards of excellence is also achieved by Schneider’s strategy of recruiting and retaining skilled claims professionals, who have to contend with heavy workloads.
“Keeping up the morale in the group by recognizing achievements both big and small, supporting work-life balance for the staff, and openly discussing individual career progression are all ways I try to stay engaged with employees,” she says.
Following law school and after working several years at an insurance defense firm, Schneider received an offer to join Arch. Since then, she has steadily prospered and credits this progression with being supported by an outstanding set of colleagues.
“I am really proud of the team I have the privilege to work with and lead,” she says. “I am only as good as the team I have beside me, supporting each other through challenges and enjoying our successes together. I like to think I have contributed to creating an environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to contribute their best every day.”
Recognized as one of IBA’s Elite Women 2025, Schneider has spent the vast majority of her career at Arch, finding it a supportive and progressive workplace. Schneider notes, however, that “work-life balance remains front of mind when weighing the idea of taking on new challenges in my career."
“As the main caregiver for two young children, I have experienced the challenges of feeling like there is never enough time to accomplish my work obligations or family needs to the level I would want or expect.”
Despite her significant achievements Schneider has plenty of ambition and is determined to continue leading in a dynamic and effective manner. This revolves around an ability to strategically problem solve, analyze situations, weigh risks, and make thoughtful decisions in the best interests of clients and the organization.
She adds, “I approach my role with a sense of accountability, understanding that the decisions I make impact our clients, employees, and the company’s reputation and success. I also recognize that claims leadership requires navigating constant change. In that regard I strive to remain adaptable and ready to face challenges while keeping my team focused and motivated.”
