Profile
Jill Hollowell is First Vice President at Alliant Insurance Services. Her trajectory has been defined by preparation meeting opportunity: deliberately mastering the complexities of benefits, cultivating client relationships, and leading with integrity.
“What sets me apart is my consistency and reliability as a leader,” she says. “I approach every opportunity with intention, follow through on commitments, and focus on building trust with both colleagues and clients.”
As a benefits consultant in an era of unprecedented cost pressures, Hollowell operates at the center of one of the industry’s toughest challenges: managing rising benefit costs at a time when the trend is at its highest in more than a decade.
She says, “I address this by staying closely connected to the market, analyzing claims and utilization data, and using those insights to help clients make informed, sustainable benefit decisions.”
This combination of analytical discipline and practical judgment is a hallmark of her work. Hollowell points to her greatest achievement not as a single project, but as the industry trust she has earned. This has repeatedly led to invitations to step into leadership roles where she can influence outcomes and teams and mentor others. Her colleagues regard her as a reliable, steady presence who follows through on commitments, brings clarity to complex decisions, and consistently delivers meaningful results.
“I take the time to listen, understand client and team needs, and provide clear, thoughtful guidance, which allows me to be a trusted advisor in complex benefits decisions,” she says.
Her approach is both strategic and collaborative. Hollowell leverages data and market intelligence to shape tailored solutions, but she also recognizes that lasting value is created through relationships, transparency, and shared understanding.
“I embrace opportunities to learn, take on challenges, and expand my leadership skills,” she explains. “I focus on making an impact not only through the results I deliver but also by mentoring others and helping them achieve their potential.”
As a woman who entered a largely male-dominated industry, especially in sales and leadership, Hollowell confronted structural barriers with consistency, hard work, and a commitment to strong, positive relationships. Over time, this opened doors to leading internal teams and partnering closely with major clients. Celebrated by Insurance Business as an Elite Woman 2026, Hollowell sees visibility and example-setting as critical. She hopes her journey emboldens other women.
She adds, “When women see others succeed, it helps normalize leadership and ambition. I hope my experience encourages other women to pursue opportunities, speak up, and trust that their contributions are valuable and impactful.”
Ultimately, Hollowell aims to leave a legacy of integrity, empathy, and inclusion: someone who strengthened the industry by empowering others and elevating the standard of leadership. At Alliant, she has found a culture that amplifies that vision, empowering her to drive meaningful success for clients, teams, and the broader benefits community.

She continually assesses strategy, aligning talent, technology, and capital with Fortegra’s future vision. By helping people understand the value of their work, Taylor drives engagement and fosters a culture where everyone sees themselves as a builder of the company’s future.
With respect to her impact at Fortegra, she adds, “I enjoy taking on operational challenges that enable our underwriting, actuarial, and finance professionals to focus on their core priorities, ultimately delivering meaningful value to Fortegra's partners and stakeholders.”
Three themes anchor her approach to both role and career:
commitment to continuous learning
focus on serving the enterprise and adding tangible value
alignment with companies whose values mirror her own
Recognized by Insurance Business as an Elite Woman 2026, Taylor is aware of the importance of visibility and representation. In a sector where senior female role models remain limited, she has chosen to see barriers as an invitation to chart her own course.
Through mentorship, active participation in networks of women C-suite leaders, and initiatives like Fortegra’s Network of Women (N.O.W.) program, she is helping build clearer pathways, stronger support systems, and broader possibilities for the next generation.
“If my experience can help someone navigate their path with more confidence or clarity, then recognition like this becomes much more meaningful,” she says. “My goal is to help create a cycle where every generation of leaders lifts the next one higher.”
