Katie Katzman serves as the executive vice president of human resources for Amwins. Since joining the firm in 2010, she has overseen all core HR functions, including benefits, payroll, talent acquisition, and employee relations across all divisions. In addition to her HR responsibilities, she is a member of the Brokerage Division leadership team, where she is known for her strong commitment to both the business and the people who power it.
Katzman is deeply engaged in the broader insurance community. She has volunteered with the Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association, particularly in support of internship programs, and has been active with the Association of Professional Insurance Women.
A graduate of North Carolina State University, Katzman also devotes time to local community outreach and has been involved with the Junior League of Charlotte. She and her husband, Michael, live in Charlotte with their twin sons, Sam and Will.

Through mentorship, active participation in networks of women C-suite leaders, and initiatives like Fortegra’s Network of Women (N.O.W.) program, she is helping build clearer pathways, stronger support systems, and broader possibilities for the next generation.
