Debbie Babcock has worked for many years, helping to bring over 3,000 talented students into the risk management and insurance industries. As associate director of the Katie School of Insurance and Risk Management, she is a “people broker” who connects students with industry through internships, company visits, mentorships, networking events, conferences and sports outings. Her network of industry professionals allows her to keep students updated on job and career trends and opportunities in the insurance industry. She continues to maintain personal and professional connections to the school’s alumni through the insurance world, both domestically and internationally.
Babcock is or has been a board member of the Association of Professional Insurance Women, the Spencer Educational Foundation, the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation – Midwest Division, the Mid-Illinois RIMS Chapter, the American Risk and Insurance Association and the Special Olympics Illinois. She is also the advisor for the Alpha Kappa Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma.
Babcock received the President’s Award in 2008 from the American Risk and Insurance Association. She was also recognized as Trailblazer of the Year for 2018 by the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation.

Johnson leads a team of over 800 valued co-creators (employees) in more than 40 offices across 15 states through a servant leadership and wellness-focused approach that emphasizes caring for Liberty’s people and creating endless opportunities for them to develop personally and professionally

Johnson placed his energy back into his passion for leading Liberty. He changed the company’s mission statement to “promoting peace of mind with great care” and its core values to “integrity, excellence, caring, kindness, fairness, teamwork, good feelings and fun!” The team embraced these principles in a way that Johnson never would have imagined. They became present in the environment in a very authentic way; they began to serve as the eight North Stars that guide Liberty’s decisions and actions in different situations. Since then, with Johnson at the helm, the company just took off.

Johnson stepped back from day-to-day management of Liberty to pursue his other passion of producing films. During the next 14 years, he made over 30 films, including those starring Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, Keanu Reeves, Duane “The Rock” Johnson, Johnny Depp, Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie and others.
