With over 30 years of leadership in the insurance and risk management industry, Paul Kottler has held key roles including risk manager, underwriter, EVP, president, and executive committee member.
His teams have managed over $100 billion in claims across all insurance lines, including complex loss, TPA, mass tort, catastrophe, Lloyd’s, and global corporate programs. As president of US Loss Adjusting at Crawford, he oversees a portfolio with over $1 trillion in insured asset value.
Kottler is known for building modern, diverse, and high-performing teams rooted in professionalism, innovation, and continuous training. He has successfully led firms in insurance adjusting, consulting, and litigation, driving growth and transformation through acquisitions, aqui-hiring, and operational turnarounds at organizations such as GAB Robins, IAS, Engle Martin, McLarens, and Crawford GTS.
He actively contributes to industry advancement through board and advisory roles, including current steering committee member of STEM is for Everyone, and past president of the CLM Arizona Chapter and the Arizona Claims Insurance Association. He also serves on advisory boards for STEM is for Everyone, Alphazyme, RoofRX, and JustClick Media, and is a current member of the World 50 Organization.
