Emily Wegman serves as senior vice president at Amwins Access in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She leads a team of four as a delegated authority production underwriter for small business property and casualty accounts. Her primary responsibility is maintaining a delicate balance between providing solutions to her retail partners while maintaining profitability for her carrier relationships.
Wegman’s role as a team leader enables her to help develop and sharpen others’ skills, not only on her team but throughout the office, region and division. She carries many other responsibilities outside of her team lead role.
Wegman has been nominated by Amwins leadership for the Insurance Supper Club’s Aspire program. She is the executive marketing chair for Amwins Young Professional Network in the Florida region, a contributor to the Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association’s career development committee, and an active member of the Association of Professional Insurance Women. She is also involved with the Young Agents Council of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents.
