Aaisha Hamid is an award-winning, Yale-certified global belonging strategist with over a decade of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) program management. She currently serves as vice president of DE&I at Alliant Insurance Services, where she designed and co-leads the company’s six-pillar DE&I strategy.
Hamid was also the founding architect of the Alliant Insurance Foundation Fellows, a groundbreaking program focused on increasing diverse talent in the insurance industry.
Previously, she was a global DE&I plan project manager at a leading law firm, supporting diversity efforts across 55 offices globally. She serves on the Aflac DE&I Broker Forum, the advisory board of the Business Insurance DE&I Institute, and the IDEA Council of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation.
Hamid is an iPEC-certified executive coach and faculty member at Lawline and the Opal Group. She has been recognized as one of the 2023 and 2024 Top 50 Influential Muslims in the Americas by EqualityX and one of the 2022 and 2024 Top 50 Women Leaders of Washington by Women We Admire.
She frequently presents at conferences alongside CXO professionals from Fortune 500 companies. Her work has been featured in Business Insurance, Voice-Tribune Magazine, LEADERS, Courier-Journal, Success Pitchers, The Social Impact Show, Diverseek, and the Ellevate Network.
