Kimberly Gore is the practice leader for the National Hospitality Practice at HUB International. She is a native of Myrtle Beach, SC and a graduate of the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC.
Gore began her insurance career in 1992 with a family-owned agency where she focused on coastal property and CAT-prone layered programs for hospitality accounts.
With the agency being acquired by a bank, Kim moved to managing operations of the SC and coastal NC region. In this role she led operations, sales initiatives, and training. With great results, she grew the region and was promoted to area vice president. In 2011, HUB acquired the agency group and Gore became the company’s chief marketing officer for the Carolinas.
She has been an active member of the insurance community, serving as president of the local Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers and as a board member of the State Independent Agent and Brokers. She was named the Young Agent of the Year – SC in 2010. She has taught insurance classes for independent agents and the banking industry.
Gore has worked in the insurance industry for 30 years, primarily handling and managing sales, marketing placements, carrier relations, and strategic leadership. She holds both the CIC and CRM designations.
She has focused her career on the hospitality and tourism industry. These classes have been her passion since she began working as an account manager. With accounts across North and South America, Gore is poised to lead HUB’s hospitality practice in thoughtful placement and to bring value and expertise to its clients.
