Dymphna Menéndez currently leads business development across the west region for Arch Insurance’s retail broker partners.
With over 10 years of experience in underwriting casualty, Dymphna has a vast knowledge of program structures and coverages that meet the needs of a wide array of insureds. In addition, she has been a leader in creating and fostering communities that champion leadership and mentoring within the insurance community. This includes her work with Gamma Iota Sigma, Employee Resource Groups, and more.
Currently, Dymphna leads the newly founded Los Angeles Chapter of Link, the LGBTQ+ Insurance Network. She has a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics with a minor in women’s studies from California State University, Fullerton, and an MBA in finance from the University of Redlands. She also holds CPCU and AU-M designations.
Dymphna describes her core values as service and excellence. She enjoys spending her time reading classic novels and being with her son.

A significant part of his focus today is staying ahead of regulatory change while maintaining a seamless client experience. He tracks updates from regulators and lenders closely and works with his teams to adjust systems as needed.
“My approach to my role and my career has always been rooted in passion, focus, and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” he says. “I’ve never been driven solely by profit or business metrics. I believe in hiring great talent, trusting them, and pushing boundaries because innovation doesn’t come from playing it safe.”
His experience isn’t limited to Canada. Ibrahim has worked in the US and UAE, which shaped his global perspective and comfort with adapting to different markets. He thrives on risk, viewing setbacks as stepping stones to progress.
