Hasnaa El Rhermoul is a Managing Director at Euclid Transactional, where she takes part in every stage of underwriting M&A transactions.
El Rhermoul began her career as a corporate associate at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP before joining Euclid Transactional in 2021.
She is fluent in French and has become a key player in handling the Quebec-based deals that Euclid underwrites along with Euclid's Canadian team. She has also worked on a variety of other cross-border deals, collaborating closely with the EMEA team and other offices across the globe to satisfy the legal demands of every country that Euclid underwrites in.
In addition to her underwriting responsibilities, El Rhermoul is committed to mentoring and supporting the development of junior team members. She plays an active role in training new underwriters and values the opportunity to contribute to their growth within the organization.
Promoted to Managing Director in March 2025, she is focused on expanding her leadership within Euclid’s underwriting group. She is especially passionate about cultivating a transparent, inclusive culture that supports and empowers women across the M&A and insurance industries.

A significant part of his focus today is staying ahead of regulatory change while maintaining a seamless client experience. He tracks updates from regulators and lenders closely and works with his teams to adjust systems as needed.
“My approach to my role and my career has always been rooted in passion, focus, and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” he says. “I’ve never been driven solely by profit or business metrics.
