Shaun Monet has experience with fortune 500 firms, startups, and mid-market companies that make her a natural fit for overseeing RIGHTSURE’s finance functions. A Chicago-area native, she has three years of experience operating within RIGHTSURE, its affiliates or subsidiary operations. Shaun has been instrumental in transforming the company’s accounting and finance department and assisted the firm with receiving three national awards as it continues its rise as a national player in the insurtech space. Shaun began her career with Etna Insurance/Assurance, a family-owned agency, while attending the University of Arizona.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in English and minors in business and Japanese, she went to Japan to teach English. Upon her return, she obtained her MBA from Thunderbird with an emphasis in business and minoring in Japanese. Her education in international business drew her to work for AIG, where she began as a consultant for the claims service centers in the western region, primarily as a data analyst. During her seven-year career with AIG, she moved on to sales and marketing and became vice president of sales for claims in the southern region. She also worked for many domestic profit centers, AIU as well as presentations for Fortune 50–500 companies.

Knowledge is power, and Felicia Garcia is passionate about sharing her insurance knowledge with both her clients and her colleagues. She started working at RIGHTSURE in 2002 while attending Pima Medical Institute with plans of becoming a dental hygienist, but insurance grew on her. She started out doing customer service work, but over the years, she has worked her way up to her current position of director of sales operations.
“Insurance is my life,” she says, adding that she loves gaining “the knowledge behind every coverage.” She also loves sharing that knowledge, and as the director of sales operations, she’s in an excellent position to do just that. Her duties include managing schedules and payrolls, but she also trains employees to become agents. When there’s a call overflow, she’s happy to pick up the phone and talk directly to clients. “What I really enjoy is being able to give clients the knowledge of insurance,” she says. She’s knowledgeable in automobile, motorcycle and home insurance, and she understands the products offered by different carriers as well as the various state guidelines. When training new agents, she passes on the important information regarding rules and regulations, but she also emphasizes the need for patience. Most people don’t understand the nuances of insurance, she points out, so it’s important to take the time to explain important issues and different coverage types so that clients are confident that they have the right insurance. Every client and situation is different, and she feels it’s important to be open-minded and put clients at ease.

Juliette Burke
Vice President, Compliance
Juliette Tetley-Burke didn’t always plan on a career in insurance. For 10 years, she worked as a teacher. When she decided that a career change was in order, she learned that Jeff Arnold needed someone with an education background for corporate training. After several interviews, she decided to become a licensed insurance agent and accepted the position. That was almost 15 years ago, and she has been working in the industry ever since. “Understanding insurance is a process that never seems to end. Learning more about the policies, state regulations and ever-changing technology is a full-time endeavor, but a challenge I truly enjoy,” she says.
When she first started working as an agent, she specialized in flood insurance, but her specialty has broadened significantly. As the vice president of operations, she does walk-ins, phone calls, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and scheduling. She continues to assist the clients she’s acquired over the years and helps when other agents are dealing with difficult situations. She’s willing to take on unusual scenarios, and she enjoys resolving whatever problems come her way.
She has a bachelor’s degree in education from UCSD, as well as a CISR designation, and is working toward her CIC designation.

Through leadership, approachability and expert knowledge of the finance industry and corresponding consumer trends, Jordan Mutton has led award-winning, high-performing teams, continually exceeding benchmarks. Building relationships is core to Jordan’s values, a skillset that has positioned him as a key leader within the industry.
Head of Inside Sales
Jordan Mutton
The president of RIGHTSURE INC., Jeff Arnold, has an interesting backstory. Born and raised in western Kentucky, he started working at age 12 under the hot sun on a tobacco farm. Since then, he has enjoyed multiple careers, from serving in the US Army to acting and stand-up comedy in Hollywood. Yet it wasn’t until 1988 that he got his big break in insurance after replying to a newspaper ad for an insurance salesman.
Working for Western Pacific Insurance Brokerage – knocking on doors and making cold calls – he gradually built up his experience and skill set. In 1997, he founded RIGHTSURE in Tucson, Arizona. Initially created out of the Great Recession chaos in the late 2000s, the company has since acquired several agencies, been involved in joint ventures with public and privately held firms, and continually evolved to remain dominant in a very crowded space.
RIGHTSURE is a leading-edge technology company, built to help people with all things insurance.
“We insure everything from pets to jets,” says Arnold, who is known for his unconventional ways of pushing the envelope in the insurance industry. RIGHTSURE operates as an independent insurance agency, insurtech and aggregator – thereby affording consumers quality and control of their insurance. The company conducts insurance across 42 states by blending artificial intelligence, chatbots, mobile apps – including the ones they created – and multivariate rating technology, all to save individuals money and time.
“Our platform is continuously focused on our clients’ experience, which relies upon our Famously Friendly Humans’ ability to execute and exceed every policyholder’s expectation” maintains Arnold. “Our success and real value to our clients cannot be solely predicated on our ability to offer a cheaper policy or carrier year after year. Therefore, our mission is to change the entire insurance ecosystem and end the too well-known practice of rate shopping done by most.”
RIGHTSURE decided to design a model around its customers never experiencing another rate increase from the insurance company, which led to its discount discovery platform. This platform is not just another quoting tool. Rather, it’s the end of insurance shopping. Depending on the customers’ time and communication preferences, RIGHTSURE’s services are afforded via chatbot, website, in-person and by the company’s Famously Friendly Humans who answer the phones. The company offers a unique blend between traditional and insurtech, automated and personal, old-fashioned and modern.
RIGHTSURE has the very best folks on its team, and each department happens to be headed by a woman. “I’ve not come across a female-forward management team in the insurance-insurtech space, and there’s no denying that this fact positively contributes to our success and culture,” states Arnold.
All of the division heads have decades of experience in the insurance industry, multiple years in the organization, and are self-motivated. The managers at RIGHTSURE value re-recruitment of staff, empower team members to be their best, show appreciation for good hard work done, and positively coach through performance opportunities to keep employees motivated and excited to be in the company.
Everyone makes constant strides to keep RIGHTSURE a fun and rewarding place to work. The company invests significantly in its employees and recognizes that the company wouldn’t succeed without all of these friendly humans.
The RIGHTSURE team participates in community volunteer activities together and attend socials outside of work. RIGHTSURE also supports education if it is of use and interest, gives company gear and clothing to wear for work, and offers in- or out-of-office working abilities, meals, gift cards and anything else that can be identified as a benefit for its valued staff.
