Chris Green is happy with his career choice in insurance. “Every day brings a new challenge and a new problem to solve, which is why I love doing it,” he says.
Green started in 2009 as an underwriter at AIG in their professional/cyber liability group in Chicago. After working as an underwriter for two years and getting in-depth product knowledge, he knew he wanted to move to the brokerage side as it would be a better fit for his personality and work habits.
Green moved over to the wholesale brokerage side in 2011 with ECC Insurance Brokers as a professional liability/cyber broker/producer. He was fortunate enough to use his relationships from the underwriting side as well as grow new partnerships with retail agents to establish and grow their book of business. In 2022, he was named president of ECC as well as the co-national practice leader for the executive risk group at Bridge Specialty.
Green continually strives to provide value to his agents with his underwriting background and product expertise. He aims to consistently solve his clients’ problems and earn their continued business and trust by providing value and ease to all of their accounts.
“I strive to constantly bring value to our agents for each account and each client,” he says. “We realize that our coverage line for an insured is only part of the puzzle that our retail agent is trying to put together, so we aim to continually make our piece as clear and simple as we can.”
