Justin Galati is the EVP of Apex Insurance Services as well as the public entity practice group leader for Bridge Specialty Group. He has been a top producer for Apex for over 12 years and has worn multiple hats throughout his career, from marketing management and brokerage to VP and executive of the company. While taking on a larger role within Bridge Specialty Group, Galati continues to be a large producer for the organization and manages his own book of business.
Galati began his career with Apex in 2010 in marketing as an associate broker and became a top producer for the company shortly after. In 2015, he was promoted to AVP of the Chicago office. In 2016, he was promoted to VP and opened an office in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
“The largest challenge I have faced in my career was opening our New Jersey office for Apex,” he explains. “It was a ‘large risk, large reward’ opportunity I couldn’t turn down. To succeed, I had to surround myself with a great support staff and additional self-motivated brokers and hit the ground running. Seven years later, we placed more than $60 million in public entity premiums.”
In 2021, Galati was promoted to his current roles at Apex and Bridge Specialty Group. He prides himself on being solution-oriented.
“I am a specialist broker with over 12 years of experience in only public entity risks and pools,” he says. “A quality that I believe has led to my success as well as Apex’s is our ability to think outside the box and produce creative solutions for both our clients and carrier partners.”
Outside of the office, Galati prefers to spend time with family, including many summer weekends soaking up the sun in Wildwood, NJ.
