Alison Green brings extensive knowledge and experience working with carriers and agents to her role with Capitol Special Risks. During nearly two decades in executive lines insurance, she has focused on building relationships throughout the industry, all while monitoring market conditions, handling complex risks, educating her team and customers, and solving problems for her clients.
After starting her insurance career as an underwriter responsible for maintaining existing accounts and generating new business, Green became a marketing representative for another executive lines company. She grew the activity in her territory by 81 percent. Prior to her current role, she worked for a national brokerage as an area assistant vice president.
Green earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia, served on the Executive Committee of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), and as the Southeast Chapter Chair of PLUS. Throughout her career, she has shared her expertise by presenting to industry groups on emerging trends in the market.
