David Chipp focuses on auto liability, general liability, and excess liability placements with specialization in construction, farm/agribusiness, and transportation. He also has 15 years of experience placing accounts in real estate, product liability, and environmental services. Chipp greatly enjoys the process of collaborating with his team of experts to build customized insurance solutions for his clients.
Chipp joined Brown & Riding in 2016 as a casualty broker and became a principal in 2019. He began his insurance career in 1999 as a file clerk for Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, working part-time while attending community college and San Diego State University. After graduating, he transitioned to a new role with Arrowhead’s wholesale division and became a broker focusing on high-net-worth personal lines clients.
After two years, Chipp transitioned to commercial lines and spent 10 years as a commercial lines broker for Arrowhead Wholesale Insurance Services. In 2016, he transitioned to Brown & Riding and became a casualty specialist.
