Lisa Rodriguez has been working in the insurance industry for over 25 years. Since 2000, she has been with Brown & Riding (formerly Alexander Morford & Woo prior to merging with B&R in 2010). She started in an entry-level position and worked her way up to broker in roughly six years’ time.
Rodriguez has achieved significant growth during her tenure and established the company’s small business unit, characterized by high volume, low cost, and high profitability. She manages thousands of accounts and has been a company principal since 2011. Additionally, Rodriguez is an expert in sexual abuse and molestation (SAM) coverage. In 2023, she published an article on the topic and hosted a webinar discussing best practices and available coverages in the evolving SAM space.
Rodriguez has always been actively involved in the insurance community. She was recognized as one of Insurance Business America’s Elite Women in 2019. She teaches continuing education courses on EPL and management liability and is an expert on the D&O exposures plaguing non-profit organizations.
Rodriguez has been teaching CE courses for over 15 years. She is an active member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society and Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of King County.
