A self-professed “coverage geek,” Megan North possesses a keen ability to dissect and assess policy language, and to procure innovative and comprehensive insurance solutions for even the most complex of risks. Over the course of her career, North has honed her acumen in the areas of professional and management liability. More acutely, she has developed a focus on Cyber Risk and Technology E&O coverage.
She enjoys education in addition to working with her clients, and has deep industry speaking experience including hosting and participating on panels across a range of audiences from college students, industry associations, and insurance conferences. She has authored multiple coverage articles ranging in content across cyber and professional liability specific to the manufacturing, energy and agriculture industry sectors.
North frequently partners with market experts from multiple carriers to tailor coverage and negotiate enhanced products for one of the fastest-growing lines of business in the industry. Most recently, she co-created the first modern Cyber Umbrella policy (an AmWINS Exclusive Product – CyberUP) which is designed to address gaps caused by silent cyber throughout an Insured’s program.
Other focus areas for her team include Management Liability and specialty E&O in addition to cyber and management liability lines.
