Rick Smith Jr. is the transportation team leader for Jencap Specialty Insurance Services. He is a true transportation specialist who always has his finger on the industry’s pulse. Smith was hired at Russell Bond in 2005 as a service coordinator for property and casualty (P&C) and worked his way up through the ranks to exclusively write P&C new business. After 10 years of dominating the P&C space, he transitioned to the transportation group as a production broker/underwriter. Smith was promoted to transportation team leader three years ago and has been exceeding expectations for the company at every turn.
He holds an Associate in General Insurance designation from The Institutes.
