Mike Heagerty began his insurance career in 1972 and purchased Gorst & Compass in 1992. He is a past president of the California Insurance Wholesalers Association. He earned a BS in business management degree from California State University Northridge. He enjoys traveling, sports car racing, and being with family and friends.

He is current president and board member of the Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association, board member and past president of the California Insurance Wholesale Association, and former board member of the AAMGA. He earned a BS degree in business management from San Diego State University and enjoys traveling with his family, playing golf, and being with friends.

He is a board member and past president of the California Insurance Wholesalers Association and Surplus Lines Association of California Legislative Committee Member. He enjoys all sports, including golf, surfing, and snowboarding, and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Chip Polhill began his insurance career in 1986 as an underwriter for Marine Office of America Corp/ Continental Insurance. He joined Gorst & Compass in 1993 and became chief underwriting officer in 2018. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in international business administration from the American Graduate School, Arizona State University. Chip enjoys scuba diving, paddle boarding in the Pacific, and spending time with family.

A trusted advisor, negotiator and advocate, she advises employers on all aspects of management-side labour, employment and human rights issues in the workplace. Delayne is a creative and focused lawyer who efficiently and effectively applies her vast experience to address a wide variety of workplace law challenges facing both public and private organizations. She is particularly known for her experience in health sector labour relations, and advising on the application of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms to collective agreements and collective bargaining.
